Banana and Chocolate Protein Balls

Cooking in the Bulk Nutrients Kitchen today and this was one of the creations that came up. Using their NEW Naturals range! Their new Naturals range means that they use only Natural Ingredients for the product itself which comes in pure Whey Protein Isolate or Whey Protein Concentrate, flavored with natural fruit flavours, vanilla, and sweetened with Stevia it’s a healthier choice for your protein! Low in fats and carbohydrates but a great Protein level, I think this is a great new addition to the Bulk Nutrients range for those that want to access it!
A little explanation
Sometimes people do get confused about why to take protein and the difference between WPI/WPC.
In short, protein is ideal to take after your workout, it can help with your muscle recovery and growth, but some also use it as a meal replacement if your always on the go this is a quick option. While as I do, I use it in a lot of cooking too!
Whey, is derived from dairy so if you have lactose concerns you may need to be mindful of this! The differences between isolate and concentrate is that Isolate is further refined to help get a great protein content for you. So generally isolate does have a higher protein content but lower in fats and carbohydrates then its buddy concentrate. But both taste great and can be used together or interchangeably!

Bulk Nutrients Banana and Chocolate Swirl Protein Balls
Banana and Chocolate Protein Balls
Makes: 11
Banana swirlΒ 
1tsp honey
Pinch cinnamon or nutmeg
1tsp chai
1tsp vanilla essence
1tbsp thick coconut cream
1/2tbsp melted coconut oil
Combine everything in a bowl and mix it up! Set aside.
* or almond meal.
Chocolate swirlΒ 
3 medjool dates (45g)
1tbsp Cocoa
20g pecans
1/2tbsp maple
1tbsp thick coconut cream
Place everything into a food processor and blend to combine.
To assemble: weigh out all your mixes Into about 10g amounts. Take 1x 10g clump of each and break apart and just layer/roughly alternate on top of each other in your hand, push together into a ball and roll up. Repeat with remainder.
Store in the fridge.
