125g softened butter
1/2c smooth or crunchy peanut butter
1/2c brown sugar
250g plain flour
1tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
50g chopped peanuts*
100g chopped dark chocolate
Line 2 baking trays.
Set your oven to 165degrees.
Beat your softened butter, sugar, maple, eggs and peanut butter until smooth.
Combine your flour and baking powder and add your peanut butter mix to this. Add your peanuts and chocolate too.
Stir until combined.
Measure out about a tbsp or 25g of mix and roll into a ball. Place onto your tray evenly apart.
Squash down with a fork.
They won’t spread much so you should fit a few on the tray.
Place in the oven for 12-14minutes until just turning golden.
Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
* you can omit the additional peanuts if you used crunchy peanut butter.
