Another savoury dinner idea, utilising protein!
Protein Pizza Base
Yield: 8 serves
1c (110g) flour of choice – I used rye*
1 scoop (30g) rice protein powder – I used BulkNutrients Rice Protein
salt and pepper
italian herbs spice mix
2tsp baking powder
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Add everything into a food processor and pulse into a dough.
Turn out onto a floured surface and flour the outside of your rolling pin and roll out to approx. 30cm diameter.
Place onto a pizza tray – or tray lined with baking paper – and cook on the one side for 15 mins
Flip, and cook on the other side for another 10 minutes.
Remove and Baste with some melted coconut oil.
Add your toppings!
I used; Coles no added sugar BBQ sauce, lite tasty cheese, chicken breast, diced mushrooms and slice onion and red capsicum.
You can add any toppings you want though!
* you can try other flours, spelt, wholemeal or others of choice!
