These are a perfect on the go morning snack – muesli bites! I made mine pretty small, literally a bite. But you could always change the shape into larger balls or triple the recipe and make a big slab! If doing a slab, allow to set in the bridge before cutting.
Muesli Spice Bites
4 dates diced (20g)
20g cashews chopped
30g oats whole or quick
1/4tsp chai spice – or a combination of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and ginger
1tsp honey (5ml)
2tsp honey nut spread – or just plain nut spread (10ml or 25g)
10g almond meal
This one is easy you just need a bowl and a spoon!
If a little to soft add more almond meal, or place in the fridge to firm up
roll into 6 20g bite sized balls
I left as is, but you could also roll through coconut
