Staying Grounded; Your Source of Gravity

Todays Prompt: You are on a mission to Mars. Because of the length of of the journey, you will never be able to return to Earth. What about our blue planet will you miss the most?

It doesn’t matter what you do, if you love something enough, even when it gets hard, something will keep you there. Keep you grounded, and Is your own source of Gravity.

In general terms, staying grounded to me and in the right head space reflects back to the morals of which you live by, which reflects what you value, how you perceive right and wrong, and where you think you stand in life.

The standard morals or; being kind to others, treating others how you like to be treated, being on time to organised meetings, following through with your commitments – are morals and codes of conduct lived by many without much thought required to see them through.

Others are dictated by your upbringing, your social class, your life experiences, religions etc. For example no sex before marriage, not to swear etc.

Morals are things you live by and value and create you, if they are truly yours then not much thought would be required to stand true to these. Sometimes things in life will challenge them, but remaining by these keeps you grounded, and true to yourself, and prevents regret. They are your Gravity.

In true answer to todays prompt; Provided I can take my dog with me, I would miss the green grass between my feet and the smell of the air on a crisp summers morning. Bliss.
